Starships were made to fly, And like warships, They fight to get to the stars Because they worship.
Starships express grace-
okay so starships are basically ships that have something to do with stars 😂 . According to my dictionary, “starships are space crafts that are capable of travelling to the solar systems of other stars”. Therefore, we’d agree that this is their purpose [why the starships were made]. Yeah I mentioned earlier that starships expressed grace so you’d stop questioning my sanity, here’s what grace is about. Grace (not countable) free and undeserved favour, especially of God. Unmerited divine assistance given to humans for their regeneration or sanctification… but in this case we’re talking starships and their inventors.
Starships are actually nonliving just that some humans were smart enough to put a few things together for them to function that means they didn’t work for their ability [free and undeserved favour]. At some point they become worn out and useless, not performing as they ought to and because of the love these owners have for their creation they would do anything to get them fixed if they don’t who will [unmerited divine assistance given for their regeneration or sanctification]. In other words, starships fly as a result of the grace they’ve experienced and are experiencing. Starships worship by flying. We are like starships and our awakening is the call to worship.
Worship is not just a music tempo-
It is an expression of grace. It is a lifestyle. The slow songs we sing at the beginning of a Christian gathering or in our houses and personal devotions and etcetera is a part of worship. As a matter of fact, if we understand what worship is all about, we wouldn’t wait till we feel like raising our hands or making joyful noises or dancing in the house of God before we do it after all, Jesus died on the cross even though he didn’t feel like it. In fact, worship predates music. The bible said Adam worshipped in the garden of Eden but music wasn’t mentioned until Genesis 4:21 with the birth of Jubal. So if worship were just music then all who were nonmusical could never worship. One of the many things I learnt while growing up was that our only gift to God was our worship [praise, thanksgiving, gratitude] and worship is an act of bringing pleasure to God. “The Lord is pleased only with those who worship him and trust his love- Psalm 147:11 CEV”. So like starships bring pleasure to their masters by flying, we bring pleasure to God by using our talents, abilities and opportunities [acts of worship ]. Worship is not about us but about pleasing God.
Worship is our love expressed to God as a response to his grace towards us-
I love my family so so much that I would do everything I can to make them happy with me because they’ve been so good to me although they aren’t perfect. So even when I’m out of their sight I’d still do things they’d approve of. I’d still be thinking about them and striving to bring pleasure to them [worship. I’m not perfect but I’m progressing ]. Now let’s fight to put our love for God in place of whatever drives our actions [ambitions, hobbies, feelings, etc.]. Let’s love God enough to do things right. I stated earlier how starships didn’t work for their ability but it was cos of their inventors.
Yeah it’s cos of God’s love we are where we at. It’s cos of it we don’t have to sacrifice animals for some high priest to give God anytime we sinned just so we could live if we still did that man I’d be brookkee! It’s cos of his love there’s Jesus and we have access to God personally. We can talk to the father through him and we didn’t ask for any of this. It’s because of God’s love we can ask him to fix us and he would. So let’s live like it [live like he loves us]. Let’s bring pleasure to him cos that’s what we were made for. Let’s worship! “So whether you eat or drink or whatsoever you do, do it all for the glory of God- 1 Corinthians 10:31”.
